My daughter is just over 2 months old and has been smiling for a few weeks now. But not regularly. Some days she's just in a smiley mood. But I've started doing a bedtime routine of bathing her, dressing her in jammies, reading a book and then singing her to sleep with a made up song that I wrote and change nightly lol I sing something along the lines of "we are brave, and we are strong. And we can sleep all night long. We are kind, and we are loved. We will be here when the sun shines above. You're my darling girl, you're my entire world. Go to sleep, close your eyes. I will be here when the sun rises."

Well, I started singing and she immediately looked at me and smiled 3 or 4 times in a row as I kept singing 😍 I think she remembers my song and that just makes my heart melt.
