dying my hair???

Do any of you mommies dye your hair while you're pregnant?? I'm 30 weeks and am dying to dye my hair, but am worried about the baby?? I've looked around for salons that have ammonia free dyes but I want to bleach my hair... Any thoughts/opinions/stories???

I'm a hairdresser and I know people say you shouldn't have your hair coloured when pregnant but you can always have highlights/lowlights with foils because the colour won't be touching your scalp.

You're still fine with bleach. My doctor said it's no problem. I had it done a few weeks ago and everything is fine.

Dying your hair doesn't harm the baby at all . My grandma is a cosmotologist and the only reason they recommend you not to dye your hair while pregnant is bc w your harmonies being out of whack your hair couldn't take the dye as well or too well or possibly even be a whole different color than the dye itself .

I read its only bad if it gets on ur skin. It goes threw your system and can reach the baby
 But if you're careful not to get it on u and let it sit there . Your baby will be okay.

Got my hair highlighted at like... 26 weeks maybe? Nothing bad happened  never got dizzy or anything, and it looks great!

I have and it was the kind pregnant woman can be around. My hair is almost bleach blonde and they used a dye so I think you'll be okay. Just tell them to do a bleach blonde but with pregnancy approved dye? Lol
