Spotting

I have been spotting for three days. Went to the Dr and he said it's normal I'm 6wks 2days he said the same thing that looks like a miscarriage looks the same as early pregnancy it's light and red and will stop for a little while but come back. Has anyone experienced this I'm nervous, they checked my hcg level and I have to go back tomorrow to check again so I won't know anything until Friday
