Is anyone else a negative blood type while pregnant?

I went to the Er yesterday and found out that is why I have been spotting so much because me and the baby have opposite blood types which is crazy to me! The doctor said in your first pregnancy it won't hurt the baby at all does anyone have any experience with this? Did it affect your hcg levels at all?

Yes! I have A- blood. They should give you a Rhogam shot a couple times during your pregnancy.

My fiancé and i are both O.  I think I'm negative and he's positive? I haven't had any problems though. Would someone be able to explain why that would make you spot? I had no idea about this! Does it hurt you with they babies blood type being different?

Whos blood type does baby normally get? Me and my sister have different blood types. Same mom and dad.

I am b -. My first son was positive and I had no issues.  With this pregnancy I had spotting all through the first trimester so my doc gave my the rhogam shot early and have had no issues since.     You will get the shot mid way through pregnancy and then right after birth

Yes! I have A- blood. They gave me my rhogam shot at 28 weeks and all has been fine my entire pregnancy.
Although I have spotted randomly throughout my whole pregnancy (now 32 weeks) my son is healthy and perfect!
