Would you ever be a surrogate?

Could you ever be a surrogate for someone? Why or why not? Would you only do it for certain situations or does it not matter?

I would love to, but I really don't think I could. Maybe my perspective will change after I give birth to my baby, but maybe it won't. I think I would have a hard time with giving the baby away, although the baby isn't genetically mine, I would be carrying it, giving the baby nutrition and love and giving birth to the baby, I love women who have the strength to surrogate but I don't think I could do it myself.

I clicked yes buy I ment no. I would love to help somebody in that way but I could never bring myself to giving up a baby I birthed...maybe I would for the right person. But for now I just couldnt!

I would in a heartbeat, because emotionally I could handle it. Physically though, pregnancy does not work well with my body. This is my 3rd pregancy (10weeks now) and I have had HG with all pregnancies, I lose so much weight, and develope preeclampsia closer to delivery. This will be my last pregnancy for sure. 😔

I always thought I would be able to. After almost 2 years of trying and 1 miscarriage... I'm not so sure any more. I think even though the child would not biologically be mine I would still have a hard time letting go. I think I would want any child my body can grow healthy and to full term I would want as my own.

I think it is so beautiful and selfless to be able to be a surrogate, and I've actually had a very good friend of mine who has offered for my and my husband if it comes to that point.

I would have when I was younger, even talked to my sister about it when she believed she was infertile after going through HepC treatment. I'm trying so hard now for my own child... I couldn't do it anymore.
