HELP please read and answer if you can

Ladies I need your help, we have been trying to get pregnant for about 5 months now. My period was due this morning but did not come and it's normally right on time, I took a cheap test(didn't want to spend money on a nice one in fear of a negotiate). And for the first time I saw two stripes, a pink stripe AND ANOTHER stripe, although it was like a dark grey green, could it be an error in the test or is that how the cheap ones work the directions weren't very good. Any hope helps I would take a picture but it has to be held up to a light to see any strips at all and that was to hard to get a clear pic
