newborn poops - normal to be so loud?

I'm EBFing and whenever my LO poops it's super loud and sounds like the biggest wet shart ever; I'm always surprised that a sound that loud can come out of a newborn's bowels. Is this normal? Do you all hear when your LO poops?

Lol! I'm only breast feeding and this little girls squirts are offensively loud! And she makes sure to make eye contact with me until she finishes 😂

My 3 1/2wk old EBF girl sounds the same. At first my husband and I used to think it was the other because who knew a tiny baby could sound like that?! Lol Sometimes it sounds like a massive wet poop explosion and the diaper will only have a tiny shart.

Yup!! My husband told the dr. I think something is wrong with him, he just sharts all the time!!! I about died laughing! I call him "my little toot toot"! He makes the cutest faces while doing it too.

Yeah, most of the time I can't help but to laugh because they are so giant and coming out of such a tiny person. One time my husband said it was so loud that it had to be me. 😂
