This is usually what the first 2 days of my period looks like as of the past few months... My period isn't as regular or as light as it used to be..... I was told it was just vaginal tissue/walls shredding nothing to worry about

Hmmm.... might be spotting. Maybe that's old uterine lining that just decided to finally come out today (but usually the blood dries and turns brown) 
Maybe it's just normal spotting. I wouldn't worry too much unless you had pains or cramps before it came AND it happens for more than 3 days. If so, I'd go to the doc and check up with him.
