sick and pregnant

I got an annoying cough that came on pretty quickly. On top of it I just feel awful. It's not morning sickness but a nasty cold. What are the best remedies for getting through a cold pregnant? So limited with what meds are safe. I also have. 9 month old and work ft so having rest time is scarce.
