At 4:45 am on Sept 4 my water broke. Headed to the hospital 1 hour away. Contractions started within a couple of hours after my water broke but were not painful yet. By 5pm I was in active labour- whoa!- and opted for an epidural. I remained in active labour for 12 hours with no further progress (dilation). At that time our OB recommended proceeding with a csection. On Sept 5 at 6:47am Jett Phoenix was born weighing 5lb 9oz and at 6:52am Knox Lennon was born weighing 6lb 8oz.
