Down Syndrome and all... she's perfect!
At 25 weeks I was told that my baby had a heart defect and that was high risk for Down Syndrome... let's just say... you never imagine that it would happen to you... but when it does, you feel like your world is falling apart. 
Well, aside from having fears as a first time mom.. imagine now adding Down Syndrome to my anxiety. Princess Sofia is now 5 weeks old, she has the cutest smile and chubbiest cheeks, and the most adorable eyes!
There is nothing down about it!! It's a process and we are going through it one day at a time... mommies out there in a similar situation, don't feel discouraged! They are truly angels sent to very special parents! Much love to you all!!!
