super frequent periods

My periods are so frequent. Sometimes only a week apart. Usually around 10. That's barely 1/3 of a cycle! I'm 14 and have had my period for more than a year, I've heard periods can be messed up in the beginning but will get on a normal cycle. I think if i was to have a normal 28 day cycle, shouldn't it have evened out by now? And even so, I still shouldn't be having periods this frequently! Can someone please give insight on this?
