Underweight? ??

I feel like my baby is being left behind by everyone! She will be 11 months on the 27th and weighs 16 pounds and is 25 inches long :(

My son is 11 months and nearly 30 pounds 😳 everyone keeps on telling me once he starts walking he will thin out.. I'm sure once you switch over to whole milk and starts getting more table foods she'll be fine! Try not to worry!

I've got a small fry too. I'm actually about to post a question about portion size. My guy turned 1 on Oct 11th (he was 6 weeks premature) and he only weighed 18.5 at his one year check. My doc said she was gonna do....(hate this term).... "failure to thrive" bloodwork if he doesn't catch up by 15months. My hubs and I aren't overly large people. I hate that at our moms groups I'm often asked with a certain (perceived) judgemental expression "how old is he? How much does he weigh?!?" 🙄

I had a friend tell me not to be concerned yet at this age. She told me they are like a slinky. Small then grow real fast and then don't grown for a while and then happens all the sudden again.

Weighed my daughter today & she's 17Ibs & short lol. She'll be 11mos on October 30th. My SO & I are on the small side though so I'm guessing she'll be petite like mommy. 😁

Aw! Sometimes it's really nice having a tiny baby. You can hold them longer. My son is 25lbs and is so hard for me to hold for very long.
