Is it appropriate for me to wear a Black Lives Matter shirt?

I am a strong believer and supporter of equality and the Black Lives Matter movement. I've been wanting to get a BLM shirt for a while now, but I've been wondering: as someone who is not black (I am mixed white and Asian), is it inappropriate or patronizing for me to wear one?
I consider myself pretty politically correct (even though I hate that term), and I try my best to not offend anyone---I'm learning. I don't want to cross any lines if that is what wearing the shirt will do.

Whenever I think about what's appropriate to wear in casual public settings, I remember a woman with a shirt on that said she "supports all forms of love"...including pedo and bestiality...it had little pictures on it...

If she can legally wear that then I can wear my galaxy kittens and you can wear your BLM.

I don't believe it is inappropriate at all. I have seen plenty of non black people wearing Black Lives Matter shirts, and it doesn't bother me at all.

i hit "no" as in it is for sure appropriate that you wear it. we need to help support others if you believe in the same movement. if anything, the movement needs more representation of other groups otber than those directly affiliated w the movement. you get that shirt, you rock that shirt and you brush off anyone who is butthurt by your support of fair and equal treatment and your recognition and disgust of police brutality!! 💞
