Is it okay that I don't associate sex with love and romance?

I am an aromantic bisexual woman and I don't dir city associate sex with love. For me it's more like a physical and primal event that can sometimes be done in a loving way if you're with the right person. I personally hate romance and it disgusts me especially when it's toward me so maybe I'm just weird.

Yup! That's completely okay 👌🏼 I'm aromantic as well and for the longest time I couldn't understand why people associated love and sex. It just didn't make sense to me 🙅🏼🤷🏼‍♀️

I felt similarly to you before being in a mature relationship. Now that I'm in love, I don't feel that way anymore. It definitely makes you feel more connected to your partner
