Long ten hour trip to see our doctors, and spotting red the morning after ?

So we have to drive 5 hours to see the drs that will be delivering us in Gainesville FL. We did the trip yesterday five hours there fee hours in the hospital monitoring the baby and he looked good so they sent us home and said come back in two weeks for the induction. I got home after the five hours back and noticed I was spotting bright red ?! I went to sleep as we were all exhausted and wake up to have some more red spotting when I wipe. It's so tiny an amount but I am very crampy and achy. Is this the start of a bloody show ? Or labor ? What was your experience of bright red spotting so close to being term ? Thanks :)
