bath salts?

Someone told me after labour it's good to put some type of bath salts in your bath to help healing if you tear or are sore... is this true? Can anyone tell me what it is or what they've used?

Not sure if this is true, but I'd assume they're talking about Epsom salts. If I were going to do it I'd use an all natural brand with no fragrance or additives.

I did sitz baths with epsom salt. I didn't add to a whole bath just a smaller container where I could sit in then stand. I had stitches after my first so this is what was recommended for pain.

Super helpful, as long as you've never had problems with sented bath stuff before. Some women get yeast infections when they take a bath and you definitely don't want that added to your plate.
