Hepatitis B vaccine. Yes or no?

What are your thoughts? 
Need to make a decision before leaving the hospital tomorrow am. So much stress, vaccines, cluster feeding, sore arms and back, fatigue, swollen ankles and legs. On too of that... Make life altering decisions regarding what's best and what's not.

No. unless Mama has Hep B, a newborn baby has absolutely no need of it. If there is concern get it later but as a newborn??? It seems so ridiculous to subject a newborn to all the additives in the vaccine

Hep B is not just sexually transmitted, it can be passed on by bodily fluids, blood, and saliva. I worked in a dental office and had a seminar held by the CDA and they walked us through why the vaccine was important for everyone. As much as you want to believe your medical practitioners offices and equipment are clean, I promise you they are not always. Most assistants sterilize equipment wrong or can be lazy. If you plan on taking your child to a dentist, I would highly recommend it.

Aw hell naw. My kid won't be getting Hep B until they're more than grown. What a useless pointless insane vaccine. Pretty sure the US are the only ones that do it, 100% sure the US are the only ones that do it at birth.

Yes. I had my son get it before leaving the hospital. They will need it to enter school anyways.

Fact: You can catch hepatitis easier than you can catch HIV or AIDS. You can get hepatitis from poop!! Better to be safe than sorry.

I will be getting my baby is vaccinated no matter what! I have made all my close friends and close family members get the tdap before the baby comes.....I'm not playing around lol

My son got the hep b vaccine and everything was just fine. There isnt anything wrong with getting it done. There were no safety concerns. If you are having concerns,  i would recommend speaking with your Dr. About it. They are there to make sure you're well informed and you can then feel comfortable making which ever decision you deem correct to make. 😊
