8 month old eating
Ok bare with me I have tried to hold off on posting but I'm nervous lol
My 3rd daughter is 8 months old. She is breastfed & takes a Sippy through out the day. She is very particular over her choice of binkie will not suck anything too long. Well for the majority of her early months she choked BAD not gagging full on blue no breath bout to dail 911. At 5 months she choked on banana stage one baby food..... ( I have started all my kiddies at 5 month I know that's sometimes frowned upon) I know your also thinking how did she really choke on baby food 😒 well it went up her nose in the back of her throat and mucous and food stuck in her throat she was blue in a food court in the mall 😰 so to stay im nervous about choking is a understatement. But here we are 8 months old and as much as I try not to compare her to other babies her age or what my other kids were doing at this age it's hard not to..... She is still eating stage one/2 baby food has no clue how to chew or even feed her self. I tried a "more textured" food for lunch and she gagged the whole time until she threw up I also understand gagging is part of learning but this is just ridiculous. She has a extremely extremely sensitive gag relflex sometimes if she yawns too big she gags lol anyways im curious if any of yalls feb Babies are this way I'm scared she's going to be on purree forever she has 3 teeth with 3 more fixing to come in any day. Tips??? Should I try those carrot dices in water? There is absolutely no way she's ready for puffs or anything like that 😩 she's already taking steps and says several words so this eating thing is our only struggle maybe I'm over reacting lol
