Tdap vaccine?

Who has refused it and why? Im not to sure about it..
NOT starting a vaccine debate here, no negative comments please
Honestly just wanting respectful pros and cons.. thanks!

Baby can't get the vaccine for a while after birth. Getting the shot while pregnant is their only defense. Everyone in my household will be getting it. 
And I agree about looking up whooping cough on YouTube. It's terrifying.

How about why wouldn't you? YouTube whooping cough for a baby....they can die easily. There is no excuse not to vaccinate against this.

Vaccines are a VERY tiny amount of chemicals that give my immune system the chance to learn how to kill certain germs before I meet the live versions of those germs. I wouldn't get into a fight with A martial artist without training if I had the option to get trained. So if course I'll get the vaccines.

We are traveling a week after baby is born so.... I will definitely be getting it just to provide her extra protection.

The TDAP is not studied in pregnancy and saids right on it. It should only be used if absolutely necessary. The rate of UFD. ( uterine fetal demise) is much higher in woman who get the tdap and/ or flu shot. These are previously uneventful pregnancies and the babies are dying within days of the tdap. It's actually ludricrous that they want to inject a pregnant woman with these vaccines.

My pediatrician told us to get it along with my ob/gyn. If you get it while you are pregnant, it will help the baby be protected since they won't get vaccinations until 6 weeks. Whooping cough is horrible! I'd rather protect him and him live than he catch it, and he die from something I could have easily prevented.

I got mine because my doctor told me it can be deadly to my baby and if it makes me sick that's fine as long as my baby doesn't get sick and my husband got it too.

I got it and so is everyone who wants any extended contact with my baby. I refuse to let him getting whopping cough and die. I would never forgive myself.

I can't get the vaccine because I'm allergic to the whooping cough vaccine. I'm making everyone that's going to be around the baby get it though. I had whooping cough when I was younger since I couldn't get the vaccine and it was horrible I ended up in Johns Hopkins children's hospital coughing up blood and nobody could visit me without a mask I really thought I wasn't going to make it. It was the worst experience of my life and I'll never forget it

I was never offered this with my first. Is this something they just started or is it just something for winter babies? I'm really confused why I never heard about getting this before.
