Carseats?

Question

FTM thinking of getting a covertable carseat what are your pros and cons and what brand would you recommend? Any advice is greatly appreciated thank you!

They are amazing I don't have any cons but graco is one of the best for fitting newborns. A lot of brands don't properly fit a newborn

Convertible car seats are great. We started with an infant seat and switched to the Evenflo Sureride when my boys were a few months old. However the pros of an infant seat are too many to list. Being able to take a sleeping baby into the store or not have to deal with strapping in a newborn in the winter, just my 2 cents! Make sure when you look at convertible seats that it has high forward faceing harness limits so you can use it for as long as possible :)

I wish I got a convertible car seat from the get-go. we have the Eddie Bauer alpine 4 travel system don't get me wrong I LOVE it! But my baby is 5 almost 6 months old and now I am having to start shopping for a new car seat to fit her soon.. but it is alright we have the stroller that will fit her for a while and a car seat for our next baby. If I had it to do over again I would get a convertible car seat and a double stroller because we know we want more kids soon. (We wanna start trying for number 2 when my daughter turns a year old.) that is what I would do and would work for my family. :)
