Mixed emotions😕

I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 8 years off & on. We've been living together for about two years. Half of the relationship was long distance & during that time I was dating other people. The problem is I'm actually missing the sex that I was having with this one particular guy. It was so passionate!!!! I love foreplay & being catered to but my boyfriend lacks in that department. I tried to give him some hints but I soon as I bring something up he questions why would I know that. What can/should do?
