I always thought if u get ur period means u don't ovulate during ur period and even if u got pregnant by miracle how can the egg attach when the lining is shedding

They say you can, but I feel like if it's on or after the third day there's not a chance...how could you when you've been. Shedding the lining not to mean room there's no way you could be ovulating...I don't know.
