OPK's

I am in cycle day 10. I took clomid for 5 days to ovulate. I should start testing today but I've been testing the last 3 days also. Using the clear blue advanced I keep getting the smiley face which means "peak ovulation". Well when I use normal test strips, the control isn't even really dark. But I have had it where the control and test line are same color (but like said, control line isn't really dark). Has anyone else had this happen??? We have been trying to conceive for a year now and this is my second round of clomid because my cycles are super irregular.
