Tips for breast feeding and pumping

Does any one have any tips or tell me what worked for you... I'm breast feeding and trying to pump so that I can do things and the hubby can feed my Lil guy. I get an ounce (out of each side) if I'm lucky when I pump unless he sleeps through a feeding and then I maybe get 2oz...
