Things in labor you were surprised by...
As a help to the still-pregnant FTMs, was there anything about labor & delivery you were totally startled by? Like no one ever thought to mention it to you?
For me, it was the shakes after delivery. I had the most violent shivers for an hour or more after delivering. I've got TMJ, so I ended up needing a muscle relaxer in order to prevent my jaw from locking up with all the clenching I was doing involuntarily. The shivers are really common, apparently!
