acid?

So I've not really noticed any heartburn but I just threw up bile/acid in my mouth 🙈 is this common in this stage of pregnancy? Anyone else got a lot of acid? Or know why or what it means?

Yes! Completely normal! It doesn't have to be "bad food" that causes it. I get it just from drinking water sometimes. I tend to get "sour stomach" and acid in the back of my throat (so gross and uncomfortable) it's due to your esophagus being more relaxed as a result of pregnancy hormones, if I recall? Dr said to just take Tums or any kind of "calcium carbonate" type anti-acid. The one I bought is a cherry chew CVS brand and it's good for calcium intake too...it works wonders! I highly recommend it!

Me!! It happened to me for the first time last night. I hadn't experienced heartburn previously so I wasn't sure what to make of it...but it sure was gross 😫

I always get it really bad when I'm laying down especially on my right side which sucks because that's the side I'm more comfortable on.

It's acid reflux and yeah common avoid greasy foods and lots of junk
