ADHD Women
Hey guys, I was wondering if any women on here have ADHD (hyperactive or inattentive type).
I have inattentive type, and it's really been kicking my ass. I've been feeling really alienated because of it. Because of it I've been feeling like a bad person because of "laziness" (which I know is executive dysfunction, but when people call you lazy enough times you start to feel bad). I am medicated but I was wondering of you guys have any coping mechanisms for it? Like, what helps you sit down and focus on what you need to, or what to you do when it has you feeling down?
Or just discussing it on this post is fine! I just feel very alone as an adult women with ADD and it would be comforting to hear other people's experiences.
