3rd degree tear
Hi everyone. My daughter was born 28/09/16. She's my second and was 10 oz smaller than my first.
With my first birth I suffered a graze/minor 1st degree tear.
My second birth was uncomplicated but for some reason I suffered a third degree tear. It's very painful. I had it repaired under spinal in theatre. At the time the staff were apologetic and had to fill out incident forms.
I just now am realising it shouldn't have happened. My labour was super fast. When I got to 10 cms I started to Push. The midwife told my husband that baby's hb mustn't fall below 100
After one push I was told to hurry up as baby was tired! Hubby looked at monitor and her heart rate was 130. Midwife saw him and switched it off!
Anyway they kept the pressure on and she was born in4/5 pushes.
I think they rushed me.
I'm devasted and worried about how I'm going to be left when I'm older.
Should I pursue this?
