what was you HCG at 5 1/2 weeks?

I went to the DR not knowing I was pregnant and took a test and I was so they gave me a transvaginal ultrasound because I couldn't remember my last period and a sac was measuring 5 1/2 weeks but didn't see a baby is that normal? And how much was your HCG at 5 1/2 weeks? Mine was 15,000 just had a miscarriage a couple months ago so I'm very nervous and skeptical. Thanks so much for any input!

At 5 weeks mine was 6,800 so it was probably 12-14k around 5w4d. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and they did see the baby and the heartbeat BUT they told me they weren't going to. They said they weren't really sure how much they would see at that point and to not be discouraged. They said only about 25% of women see that much at 6 weeks bcs even one day later implantation can make a huge difference on what you see. I did ivf so they watch me carefully. I don't think you have anything to worry about but get another scan in a week just to ease your mind

At 5w4d mine was only 7,000 but baby is just fine now at 19weeks. Yours looks very very promising maybe even expect twins as levels go higher with multiples!
