I'm a virgin. It's by choice because i feel i'm too young for sex. The guy i've been hanging out with lately is not a virgin. I know he would never pressure me to do anything i don't want to do, but what if i feel pressure on myself. I have anxiety and make everything into a big deal.  I know i'm not ready for sex, but it's almost like i'm trying to convince myself I am.

You should definitely wait and choose someone that cares for you! I was 19 and I'm not with that person anymore but I do not regret it and I'm grateful to share that experience with him!

If your first instinct is that you're not ready, listen to that. Don't rush yourself. I was with my boyfriend for 2 years before we had sex. I was 18 when I lost my virginity. There were plenty of times I felt the pressure like we should just do it already, but I waited until I without a doubt was ready.
