Don't need to oil my skin?

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and asked my mom if she thought I should buy some stretch mark creme. She looked at me and replied "U already have stretch marks(on my breasts and hips) so what's the point?" I'm offended but at the same time I am pretty fat already.. what do u guys think? (I have on bottoms)

Its what you want to do. It helps but it doesn't completely prevent them. It also has a lot to do with your genetics. You're not fat, and don't ever put yourself down. You're a beautiful woman and your body is doing a beautiful thing. Embrace it!!

I already have stretch marks to. The cream wouldnt prevent them, it mostly just helps with the itchiness & uncomfortable stretching & tearing of your skin.

I'm considered underweight and I've had stretch marks on my calves for years 😂😂😂. Go figure, right? The smell of lotions and oils are making me sick so until that goes away, I will just embrace the marks!

1st and most important, you are NOT FAT! You have a wonderful shape and from what I can see the weight looks good on your frame. Some body types look better with more or less on them.

2nd. You can try. Stretch marks happen from rapid skin change. Either the growing bump, or even rapid weight loss can lead to stretch marks.

I have stretch marks on my hips, inner thighs, and boobs (the boobs actually faded completely once they stopped growing!), but I have only about 6 stretch marks and they aren't that bad. But I also haven't gained weight quickly. I actually lost 17 pounds my first trimester due to food aversion.

So honestly if you wanna try, go for it. But they may happen anyway. Or, you may not get any, or just get a few. There is no way to Garuntee it

First off you're not fat, second off there's nothing wrong with preventing new marks. I have stretch marks on my butt and hips from childhood but that doesn't mean I want new ones on my belly in adulthood lol
