Okay so I've been on the nexplanon implant for six months. So i have not had a period. I am sexually active, and intimacy does occur at least once a week. Since I have the implant)99.9% effective)  we don't use condoms (they cause me irritation even with the lube) but he pulls out way in advance. Also there's no chance of transmission of STDs as we were each other's first partners and tested negative when tested previously.
