Anyone anemic during pregnancy?

Just got told I was very anemic. I'm 33 weeks pregnantm

Just eat lots of leafy green veggies. Kale, spinach. Try a fruit/veggie smoothie everyday. Your iron will rise quicker this way thrn with supplements. I have chronic anemia.

I tend to be anemic all the time, despite a very clean healthy diet full of leafy greens and nuts and beans.  To avoid complications at delivery, I was put on an iron supplement by my midwife.  Many prenatal vitamins include or add it, but I found it easier to take a liquid form by Gaia that you can find at Whole Foods or any other health food store.

I take iron pills on top of my prenatals 2x a day to get a handle on mine.

I was with my first (my levels were on the low end of "normal"). I needed a blood transfusion after giving birth. I didn't lose an abnormal amount of blood, but my hemoglobin was really low.

I was with my first. It's fairly common, take the pills and eat more iron containing foods. Nothing to panic about
