Has anyone else taken the 1hr glucose test twice? 🤔

I passed the 1st one, didn't have to take the 3hr..and I just did another 1hr test yesterday. I asked my Dr and he has no answer other then, it's becuz I'm in the third trimester. I don't remember taking it twice with my first child. I don't know anyone else that has had to take it twice. It's just weird to me. No one has any idea why I had to do it again.

Actually...I ended up having to take mine twice in one day😳 I had my drink at home in the morning and checked in to my Dr.'s office 45 minutes later for my appointment. Well, the lab tech forgot me (?) in the waiting room and missed the 10 minute window allotted before/after the 1 hour mark, so my blood could not be drawn. I went home (shakey) and had some lunch, then returned later that afternoon for round two...(I passed 👍) But otherwise, I haven't heard of doing the testing twice🤔

I had to take it at 16 and 28 weeks but that's because I am diagnosed with PCOS.

I did it the first time at around 12 weeks passed worth flying colors. But i still have to take another 1 hr at 28 weeks. I think it's standard to have 2.

I had to Do one around 12 weeks because I was right at 30% bmi, I passed but they had me do it again at 24 weeks, which is when they have everyone do it regardless of their weight/bmi.

I have had 2 1 hr tests and Monday getting a 4 hour. Not sure why. I haven't been told anything from any of my lab work, urine samples, or ultra sounds. Hell my doctor cannot even decide on a due date.

My second one is coming up! My BMI indicated I needed it early (I disagreed but whatever) so I had it around 14-17wks? I can't remember... then it's normal to have it at 28wks so that's next!

I'm actually taking mine now and the lady said sometimes docs think you may have passed by accident (a false negative) and want you to repeat later. Not sure why- any other symptoms of GD going on? I'd be pissed if I had to redo it after passing lol
