estrogen free pill???

so i just got the progestin only pill, haven't started taking it yet because i can't decide if it's worth it. i had a nurse tell me that i should use a condom with it every time, just to be safe, and i can't take the normal pills due to migraines :(  does anyone out there have any advice??

So progestin only pills CAN be less effective, but not to the point where you would need to use a condom every time. You do need to take them consistently at the same time though. I get breakthrough bleeding if I am two hours late.

I found it worked just as well and made me feel better due to only one hormone. It's just as effective

It's as effective, but you have to take it on time every day, otherwise you have to use back up.

I went on those as well because of my migraines but then after a cyst on my ovary burst I went to a new doctor and she took me off them and put me on the combo pill she said unless my migraines were worse on the combo I'll be fine. So far I'm doing good

I'm the same ! Can't use them ! So I use zeletta ! It's like a mini pill works a lot better for me x
