So I'm about 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Starting today, this evening while I was at work when i used the restroom it burned to use the restroom. And I just went again, it burned again and it burned a little afterwards. But after about a minute went away... anyone experience this?

When I got up this morning to use the restroom it no longer hurt. Should I still go? Or see if it comes back?

I haven't had the chance to get a doctor yet. I may have to go to the hospital later today.

Most likely a uti. Go to a doctor and if you have one they will give you PREGNANCY SAFE antibiotics. It's important you take it AS PRESCRIBED because if it gets worse and makes its way to your kidneys it can put you in the hospital and sometimes cause loss of the baby or preterm labor.

The uti itself is not harmful to the baby. But leaving it untreated can lead to harm, so just call up your doctor and tell them and they will test you no problem

Probably a UTI. My Dr recommended putting some vaseline on it

Drink lots and lots of liquids. The only thing that has ever eased the pain for me. You should also talk to your OB about some antibiotics for a UTI (if that's what you have)

I haven't personally experienced this but I would let your doctor know. It could be a urinary tract infection.
