Infections?

Girls... Have you ever had a yeast infection that felt like a UTI? Super awkward to talk about but I need some answers.. I went to the doctor and the test for the UTI was negative so she gave me antibiotics for a yeast infection. Apparently they can get bad enough to the point where it hurts to pee and there's a lot of pressure.. That's what got me. I feel like I have to go to the ladies room way more than usual because of an awkward pressure, and it burns.. And I was really itchy as well.. Not so much at the moment.. I start my meds tomorrow so hopefully it goes away.. Have any of you had a similar experience ? I'm type 1 diabetic so yeast infections are pretty common with my blood sugars.. And I've never had one like this..
