tmi I'm having a hard time going poop

I'm sorry if it's tmi but i really need some advice, my baby is almost 5 months and I'm still having such a hard time going poop. It started off as being constipated but now my poop is so hard I cry almost everytime I'm trying to go. I've tried colace which is a stool softener but it's not helping at all. I'm breastfeeding so I know there's certain things maybe I won't be able to take. Please any advice would be really appreciated
