Teens... What's your reasoning for trying to conceive?

Question

There was a lot of going back and forth on this other topic re: teens ttc and whether they should be Ttc or not. I'm obvs not going to say you should or should not be BUT for the ones who are TTC and/or are pregnant ... What was your reasoning behind your decision? What made you want to TTC?

Just for everyone (including myself) to  know!

I think everyone who thinks they want a baby or got pregnant should get a pretend one that acts like a real baby so they actually know what having one is like. Then there might be less stupid unfit parents around.

When I was in high school I desperately wanted a baby! I'm thankful that I didn't have a serious boyfriend at the time because I probably would have tried to convince him to start TTC.
I have always loved babies, and pregnancy has always fascinated me. Also, I really struggled with wanting to act like an adult and be independent. All of those things mixed together in one slightly-crazy teenager, I had a bad case of baby fever.
Also, I have found that a lot of girls want to get pregnant because they really want someone to love them. They think a baby will pop out and all will be well because they have that one person that loves them unconditionally. They just don't understand that it really doesn't work that way.

I never tried to conceive, but I did have baby fever at one point. And yea....babies are adorable and they can't leave. I loved the prospect of being an awesome parent who has a great relationship with their kid. Then my baby fever disappeared and I lost the desire to have a kid. Which is when I get pregnant...?

Mine wasn't planned but he sorted my life out and was and is the best thing that's happened to me. 
Not all teenagers are trying to get pregnant and not all teenagers are emotionally or financially ready
But some are 
For those that are - let them get on with it.  it's really no one else's business
