When is a good time to start pumping and bottle feeding your newborn?

Just curious when y'all think its a good time to start alternating between the direct breast and breast milk from the bottle as a new born?

My lactation consultant said 4 to 5 weeks was the best time to start using bottles and pacifiers while still breastfeeding. That gives baby enough time to master breastfeeding and will give them the best change to not get nipple confusion.

We started giving our lo a bottle at 10 days old. She successfully breast and bottle fed for 5 months. She got teeth at 4 months began biting me very hard so I chose to stop.
