is deet safe in the first 3 months of pregnancy?

I just read online it's too powerful during the first 3 months but I'm traveling to Florida at 12-13 weeks and need it...anyone know??

I went to Asia from the UK for 3 weeks at 7 weeks pregnant and used it all the time. Everything I read said it was safe and baby has been growing just fine. Just make sure you spray Ina well ventalated area

It's safer than Zika! Try a lower percent but definitely use it!!

I live in Florida and the handbook I got from my obgyn suggests I use only bug spray with deet while pregnant.

I've used it. Those little things love my blood.. I literally break out in hives from bites so I use it religiously. Thus is my third and the other two are okay.

With zika, I wouldn't even go to Florida right now. 😳 But that's just me. I was told by my doctor to use bug spray if I will be outside ..  But still check with your doctor
