Is it a UTI?

Question

How can you tell if you have a UTI? Please be spacific! I've never had one before and I don't know if I should go to the doctors. I'm in some pain but it's not that bad. Just some sharp pains every now and then. I also have to pee all the time but barely anything comes out. Also the pain is only on my left side.

Sounds like it.. I'd go to the hospital to make sure and if it is take your meds hun.. I've had one and it's horrible.. Hope this helps

Definitely go get checked! I didn't know I had a UTI and I ended up with a kidney infection. It was the worst pain I've ever felt. And I pushed a 9'6" baby out without any pain meds.

Okay, I have never had a UTI and have the same symptoms. I will pee very often and sometimes feel like I have to and nothing ever comes out but it doesn't burn when I pee. I also have sharp pain on the right side and i found out I have a cyst in my right ovary and I don't have a UTI. I would say go to your OB.

If it hurts when you pee and you have to pee alot but only a little comes out then it's a uti. Or even the feeling of having to pee.wont go away but you can't pee then yes. I'd say go get checked.
