Baby carries

I was given three baby carries for my shower.. they were all fairly affordable, not like the ones that are $200. So I did my research & picked the best one.. well now that I'm actually using a carrier, I found out that it really sucks. My son hates it & it hurts my back like a mofo. I just looked into tulas & always heard nothing but great things but was actually wondering if any of you moms have one. If so, do you swear by it? I want make sure I get the best with my money's worth. Thank you.
