I work at a grocery store stalking shelves. Every day it seems like I get some weird costumer telling me I need to eat a hamburger. What they don't realize it that I love food. I eat 6 times a day plus 2 300 calorie protein shakes meant for old people. I can't gain weight due to a thyroid problem. I don't look unhealthy I just look skinny, but these people make me feel like I'm too skinny. You normally wouldn't tell an overweight stranger to eat less. Either way what's being said is "your body looks wrong!"

I'm 5'3 and on average weigh 43kgs.
I constantly hear these kinds of comments,
Especially from midwives.
The first midwife I ever saw said to me: 
"haha, better go home and eat something! Can't expect to keep a baby alive if you can't keep yourself alive"

I wouldn't hesitate and respond with "you should eat less hamburgers." I'm skinny too, and I've dealt with those comments my whole life. It's never ok to shame someone's body.

I usually reply it looks as if you should hold off on the cheeseburgers. 
That usually shuts them up real quick. I took people's shit about my weight as a child and teen. I absolutely do not as an adult. Not your body not your business. If you make a comment about me being to think I will shut your ass down.

I hear this bs ALL THE TIME for being 5'2 and 96lbs. Like come on really? It's just like fat shaming except some find it socially acceptable. I've literally been told I should not be offended for being told I'm too skinny because it's nothing like being told you're fat!  (BULL S***, it hurts just as bad!) Pisses me off. Luckily my fiancé jumps on anybody's a** that says that to me which I love very much. All he cares is that I'm healthy and that's all anyone should care about anyone's body.
