What can i take for a cold?

So I've been dealing with a really bad cold and caugh for the past 2 days and i don't know what's safe to take? I've been drinking green tea only. Any advice on what i can take?

Cough drops.  Use Vick's vapor rub on your neck chest back and bottoms of your feet.

I wouldn't take anything without running it past your doctor first. When I was sick I was told benedryl (of any of those medicines without the -D) and for the cough robitussin dm. I also swore by my neti pot! Feel better!

I sip a lot of hot lemon water with raw honey through the day and take high doses of vitamin C (this is controversial for some). I use a saline spray or netty pot and humidifier. Essential oils are also helpful if your into those. Ask your dr too what OT things you can take too.
