Rebounding?

So I'm dating a guy I worked with last year. Here's the catch tho, last year was my 4th year in a commited relationship. I moved states after that 4 year relationship breakup and gathered myself after about 4 months I came back to my home town and I got a message from this guy I'm now dating. We started hanging out and just filling after work time with laughs and good vibes, I made it clear I wasn't looking for a serious relationship but a commited sexual partner and he was fine with that. After 3 months of getting to know each other he finalhly asked me out.

Is that too fast, rebounding? I don't feel like he's a rebound but what do y'all think?
