Selfish spouse, help!
So I've been married a year and a half. Been with him over 4 years. He was extremely immature when we were first together and seemed to completely lack empathy and relationship common sense. He's still pretty self centered but has gotten SO, so much better than he used to be. Before we got married I let him know that he had to give up bars once we were married (nessasary for him) and he agreed. Two year later, two nights ago he went golfing with a few buddies at noon. He carpooled. Promised he would be home by 7. Texted me at 8:30 that the driver "made" him go to a casino. I was understanding but told him to get home. He then goes to at least one bar and gets home at midnight. He is denying all responsibility in this and said it was his friend's fault and there was nothing he could do. The bar is a 5 minute cab ride from our house and he could have called a dozen people for a ride. Things haven't been great since we got married (he no longer wants sex, etc) so this was piling on. He refuses to say he's sorry and thinks it's funny that I'm mad. Hes 35 btw! We have a 8 month old and I'm 4 months pregnant. My question is how have you ladies gotten through in a productive way to a selfish spouse? I can't exactly take off but I don't want to accept this kind of thing either. He refuses counseling so unfortunately that isn't an option. I would appreciate any advise so much! Thanks *****This is more about constant breaking his word, selfish behavior and not taking personal responsibility than it is about him going to a bar*****
