BFN maybe too early?

Hi all, took a test this morning 2 days before AF is due but was a BFN☹️️ have a constant dull achy feeling in my lower abdomen the last few days, is it a sign or am I clutching at straws!! otherwise no others symptoms!! Do I wait another few days to test?
