I called today to get my first appointment (we've been out of town since I found out I was pregnant), and they receptionist said she was going to call my insurance to verify my maternity benefits and call me back to schedule an appointment. It's my first pregnancy, just wondering if this is common? I have BCBS through my Dad still (I am 25; it was just way cheaper to stay on Dad's until they drop me at 26) and have never had any trouble with anything with them. I'm sure everything's going to be fine, but does anyone know what other options I have if they don't cover me for some reason?
